Coppell Track & Field teams qualified 18 athletes for the UIL Region 1 6A Track meet held at UTA’s Maverick stadium this past weekend. After dealing with weather delays on Friday the teams were finally able to complete the meet on Saturday. The top 2 finishers in each event advanced to the State Track meet. The boys team finished in 10th place overall and girls team finished as Co-Champions in a tie for 1st place. The girls 4x400 relay (Emma Sherrer, Olivia Marez, Morgan Colon, Waverly Hassman) set a new school record with a time of 3:48.69.

Kinley Wojick – 2nd Pole Vault
Megan Judd – 3rd High Jump
Waverly Hassman – 3rd 800m
4x400 Relay – 1st (Emma Sherrer, Oliva Marez, Morgan Colon, Waverly Hassman)
