Matt Pino
Coach Matthew Pino enters his 1st year at Coppell. Coach Pino brings 10 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Pace High School (NYC). An impressive track of success, Coach Pino posts multiple playoff game wins each season. He has also coached multiple basketball and softball players that have played at the next level.
As an athlete, Coach Pino played 4 years of HS basketball in New Mexico at the Wing and 2-Guard positions. He went on to earn a Physical Education degree from Queens College (NYC).
Away from coaching, Coach Pino enjoys spending time with family and friends, and fun fact, his favorite music is 1970's Jazz Fusion and 1960's Post Bop, Hard Bop Jazz. His favorite quote, “The purpose of life is a life of purpose.”
CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Pino responded “I coach to help young people and athletes identify and carry out their purposes on and off the field.”
